EUthMappers Named Mapper of the Month by UN Mappers!

We are thrilled to announce that EUthMappers has been recognized as Mapper of the Month by UN Mappers for July 2025! 🌍✨

This recognition highlights our collaboration with UN Mappers to bring the power of open mapping into secondary schools across Europe. Through this initiative, 162 high school students took part in hands-on mapping activities, contributing an incredible 18,240 buildings in Afghanistan. 🏘️📍

These contributions are not just numbers—they are meaningful data supporting the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) and their peacekeeping efforts. The mapped data will feed into the creation of a 3D digital replica of Kandahar city, a tool that helps humanitarian, urban planning, and recovery initiatives on the ground.
